Nurse Says Sister Found Dead After Abduction in Port Harcourt
A nurse who had sought help online to rescue her kidnapped sister has revealed that her sister has been found dead. The family alleges she was thrown from a moving vehicle by suspected one-chance operators.
A nurse, Jane Ogbu, has revealed that her sister, Ihunda Nkiruka Jennifer, who was kidnapped in Port Harcourt, has been found dead.
According to the nurse, she had previously gone online to ask for help rescuing her sister. She claimed kidnappers picked up her sister and that her sister managed to throw her bag away before being taken.
In an update on June 5, the nurse stated that her sister had been found dead. Reports from family members indicated that Jennifer was abducted by suspected one-chance operators. The family began searching and their search led them to a hospital near Air Force Road, where they discovered her body had been deposited at the UPTH mortuary.

The family alleged that Jennifer was abducted around the Rumuosi area and later thrown from a moving vehicle near the Eliozu axis near Harmony Estate. They claimed she suffered fatal head injuries after being pushed from the vehicle and showed signs of having struggled with her attackers.
