MKP MP Muzikayise Ntshingila Dies After Illness, Parliament Mourns

The Presiding Officers of Parliament have conveyed condolences after the death of uMkhonto weSizwe Party MP Muzikayise Ntshingila, who had been unwell for some time.

The Presiding Officers of Parliament have conveyed their condolences following the death of uMkhonto weSizwe (MKP) Member of Parliament Muzikayise Ntshingila. National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza and National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Chairperson Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane said Ntshingila focused on attaining an equitable society through quiet resolve and steadfast action.

The MKP said Ntshingila had not been well for some time. Party spokesperson Sifiso Mahlangu expressed sadness over the passing, noting that Ntshingila had been unwell and that the party had hoped for his recovery. Mahlangu said, “As MK Party we are very saddened by the passing of our comrade. We send our condolences to his family and in particular to his children whom we have met.” He added that party officials visited the family on Saturday to begin making arrangements.
